The Sat-Lite Technologies Model 2441 vehicle-mount 2.4 Meter Satcom and Troposcatter antenna offers the most robust, light-weight and compact antenna of its type and size available. The antenna is designed to meet international requirements for Satcom in C,X, Ku, Ka and C / Ku Band Troposcatter applications through quickly interchangeable feeds covering Satcom frequencies from C-Band through Ka-Band. The RF performance is optimized in each frequency band for highest antenna efficiency and crosspol isolation, as well as pattern compliance and low ohmic losses. In addition, proprietary Dual Beam C and Ku-Band Troposcatter feed designs provide quad diversity capability through angle-diversity in two polarizations, and is inherently capable of handling high TX power levels while providing simultaneous RX and TX functionality in a compact and rugged package. The amplifiers can be mounted on the positioner (Saddle Bag configuration) or on the feed boom depending upon the size and weight. The feeds are with Quick disconnect for easy changing of frequency bands in field in less than 60 minutes.
